Why an event planner?

In the past, many have thought that hiring an event planner was an extravagance only meant for the elite. After all, why spend money for something you could "do yourself"? Today, however, times have changed.

Although planning an event is exciting and fun, it can also be time consuming and very stressful. With today's hectic lifestyle, you may not have the time to fully investigate the sources for each service, to make sure you are getting the most for your money, and pay attention to all the details. Our experience in this billion dollar industry allows us to have access to products, services and discounts that are unavailable to most individuals.

Platinum Weddings & Events, LLC will not make any decisions for you; we will only help you to make informed decisions and guide you through the process with your dream and your budget in mind. With training and experience, we will offer you information based on your goals and expectations. We will be there to answer all your questions and make sure your celebration is all that you have ever imagined!


What are the costs?

Our rates vary depending on your choices in services. Our minimum fee is $500. We charge between 15-20% of the work we do for you. Keep in mind, any savings we receive from vendors is passed directly to you; we do not receive "kickbacks" or any vendor discounts.

We also take into consideration fundraising events, knowing that the purpose is to make money; these organizations will not be charged the same rates as other types of events.

You can also save ~or make~ money by participating in our referral program. For any person you refer to us, on the day of their event, you will receive either a check or a discount on your event. Ask a representative for more information on how to get started on the referral program.
